‘Naye Pallav’ is one of the fastest-growing publishing houses in India. It was established in September 2016 in Patna, the capital of Bihar. It publishes books in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Maithili, Nepali, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Gujarati, Punjabi, and many other Indian languages. So far, it has published hundreds of books by both established and emerging authors. Books by some Indians living abroad have also been published by Naye Pallav. In addition, it has also published books for several universities, institutions, and a few small publishers.
‘Naye Pallav’ began in 2014 as a social, literary, and cultural organization, founded with a few writers to provide a strong platform for young authors and help them gain national-level recognition. It has also been actively working among people from all walks of life to promote the Hindi language in various ways. From its early days, not only people from India but also Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) living abroad were associated with it. Later, due to its growing popularity and at the request and support of writers, Naye Pallav was formally transformed into a publishing house in 2016.
To cultivate an interest in the Hindi language among school children, the publishing house established the ‘Gharonda Club’. Under this initiative, various competitions are organized from time to time for students from classes 6 to 12 to encourage them. Arrangements have also been made to teach children poetry, stories, short stories, painting, etc., online. All of this is completely free for children. Moreover, those who perform well have their books published free of cost. One such example is the poetry collection ‘Musafir’ by Kajal Saha from Kolkata, which you can find online. It is noteworthy that most of the children associated with the Gharonda Club come from very poor families, many even from slums. Until now, all these activities have been carried out entirely at the publisher’s own expense, without receiving any grants or financial assistance from anywhere.

Furthermore, under the name of publishing, it does not mislead any author; instead, whatever the truth is, it is clearly conveyed from the publisher’s side. This is precisely the reason why we have been able to continue working in the publishing world until today.”
